Luminescence from down under.

Mamiya 645Pro 80mm f1.9 – Kodak Tmax 100 Caldwell TX July 2003

This is a fun picture with just a single light source. The glass chessboard and chess pieces were perfect for capturing an otherworldly shot using a slow shutter speed to show movement of the hand and piece.

This image was captured by setting the chessboard on two chair backs at the edges and putting one spiral florescent light underneath. The illumination gave the shot a ghostly effect. The rook at the forefront of the picture shows the spiral light for another interesting component.
